Heroes of my gear: Selfmade raincoats for Radical recumbent panniers. Honestly, those expensive liners they sell are crap. Mine haven't been waterproof for a second. And after the first tour even the seamtape got loose. Those silnylon coats I made are far more simple and worked great. The additional Dry-Sacks I used inside the bags have not been necessary.
